welcome to the edge
the outside edge theatre company
Outside Edge  works from the
perspective of creating theatre
and drama work with diverse
groups affected  by substance
misuse.

We use theatre and performing
arts to give people affected by
chemical addiction a voice -
enabling them to reach and
recognise their potential, find an
identity and build skills and
confidence.

Additionally, the company
provides theatre interventions in
drug and alcohol treatment
facilities throughout London and
the UK

The company also produce once
a year a professional public
theatre production that  takes
place in community venues, art
centres and  studio theatres.
'The work of the company is inspirational'

What Jimmy Page says about the company -
'I am delighted and proud to be a supporter of
The Outside Edge Theatre Company.  They
manage, under the guidance of Phil Fox, to
produce artistically excellent work that
challenges and entertains audiences at the same
time as making a real difference.  They
demonstrate the very real capacity of live
performance to positively transform shattered
lives. Edge's work with addicts - and the ways
in which their performances awaken audiences
and provoke  debate - is quite simply stunning'

This year for treatment  centres
and rehabs
we are presenting a new play  A High
Price To Pay - '
When your an addict in
recovery and your backs against the wall
you sometimes end up doing things you
wish you had never done. Ever'.

A High Price To Pay is going to be one of
the best treatment centre productions
we've ever done - Phil Fox.

"The play  had no pretension, no preaching,
it broke through my denial. It's an incredible
tool for recovery'
